Interview with Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, 12 September.
Tuesday 12 September 2017 at 6pm, Toulon Opera House
Curated by the Charlemagne Bookshop in partnership with Toulon Opera House, Opéra Littéra is a programme of interviews conducted in the illustrious setting of the Foyer Campra, a magnificent hall named after the composer, André Campra (1660-1744), and occupying the entire breadth of this prestigious building.
To open the series, we are pleased to announce the appearance of playwright, novelist, film director and writer of non-fiction, Eric-Emmanuel SCHMITT.
For reservations, email secretariat@librairiecharlemagne.com or phone +33(0)4 94 22 68 88.
Eric-Emmanuel SCHMITT will also be presenting his latest book, The Revenge of Forgiveness, a collection of four stories centred on the theme of forgiveness: twin sisters with nothing in common; an egoistic playboy; a woman who regularly visits her daughter’s murderer in prison and, lastly, a hardened, secretive man who recovers his humanity through the presence of a little girl. Four tales that explore a complex emotion with a subtlety that takes readers to the depths of the human heart. A new Eric-Emmanuel SCHMITT of superb refinement.
